SOURSOP SHOWS ANTIPROTOZOAL ACTIVITY Trypanosomiasis, Leishmaniasis, Toxoplasmosis, and Malaria are the most common protozoal diseases worldwide. Therapies developed using medicinal plants have gained importance due to the lack of treatment options for parasitic protozoal infections. The following studies were conducted to investigate the antiprotozoal activity of Annona muricata . * A. muricata ethanol leaf extract showed antiprotozoal activity against Toxoplasma gondii.
